The Institute for Coastal and Water Research is the University's home for research activity and synergy in coastal and water research.
The Institute for Coastal and Water Research focuses on global climate change and sea level rise, restoration of coastal ecosystems, environmental modeling, water management, and sustainability of habitats and communities.
We facilitate multidisciplinary research endeavors across UL Lafayette departments, schools and colleges. We also partner with state and federal agencies, private industry, nonprofits, and other academic institutions to identify and resolve coastal and water needs.
