Dr. Gros is an Assistant Professor in the School of Kinesiology and serves as a Graduate Coordinator and the Program Director for the M.S. Athletic Training Program.

Biography

Dr. Gros has been a certified athletic trainer and preceptor for 15 years and has experience in a variety of settings; they include secondary school, physical therapy clinic, arena football, collegiate club sport, and summer collegiate baseball league settings. She is a certified and licensed athletic trainer, CPR Instructor, earned her Instrumented Assisted Massage certification, QPR Suicide Prevention certification, and is certified by UL Lafayette for Distance Learning.

She has been awarded the UL Lafayette advising award 4 times and is currently the recipient of the Vesta Bourgeois Professorship in Health and Physical Education.

Dr. Gros is on multiple UL Lafayette committees, interprofessional and athletic training committees, and is a PRN athletic trainer for local events.
