Dr. Michael Totaro is an associate professor and the graduate program coordinator of the Master's of Science in Informatics program in the School of Computing and Informatics.

Biography

Dr. Michael Totaro worked in industry as a programmer, database developer, and network administrator from 1982 until 1989. He joined the university in August of 1989 and became a faculty member in August 1996. He has been with the School of Computing and Informatics since its creation in Fall 2011, and has served previously as program coordinator for the undergraduate program in Informatics.

He teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Informatics, as well as directing masters and doctoral students in their research, masters theses and doctoral dissertations.

Dr. Totaro has authored/co-authored dozens of conference and journal papers since 1996. He received his Ph.D. in computer science in 2007, masters degrees in telecommunications (1999) and business administration (1988), and a B.S. in computer science (1982), all from University of ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥ at Lafayette. Dr. Totaro is currently pursuing an M.A. in Theology (Dogmatic Theology Concentration) at Holy Apostles College & Seminary.
