College Fair Offers Information to Parents, Students

Prospective college students and their parents can learn about UL Lafayette and other ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥ universities at Parent’s Night on Monday, Oct. 29.

The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Earl K. Long Gymnasium on campus. It’s especially targeted for high school juniors and seniors in Lafayette, Iberia, St. Martin, St. Landry, Acadia and Vermilion parishes.

Parent’s Night will provide information about college selection and admission processes. Participants can also learn about financial aid and scholarships, including TOPS, the Taylor Opportunity Program for Students.

Students and parents will have a chance to talk to representatives of colleges and universities from across the state, as well as UL Lafayette.

Free parking is available in the parking lot adjacent to Earl K. Long Gymnasium.
