Saturday Classes in Spring 2004

Saturday mornings aren’t only for cartoons anymore. UL Lafayette has the following courses available during the Spring 2004 semester on Saturdays.

• English 304 - Vocabulary Development. This course is a thorough analysis of word building, involving a complete examination of English morphology and etymology, stressing Greek, Latin and native affixes. It is designed for general vocabulary development.

• Finance 230 - Personal Consumer Finance. This course teaches the fundamentals of financial planning and expenditure control for individuals and families. Proper use of credit, insurance, real property and other investments are also discussed.

• Health 218 - Chemical Substance Abuse. This course depicts the historical, social, physiological and legal aspects of drugs in our society. Emphasis is placed on health risks of chemical substance abuse.
