Section of St. Mary Boulevard closed Tuesday for special session address

Gov. John Bel Edwards’ address Tuesday at the University of ޻ֱ at Lafayette will affect traffic on campus.

East St. Mary Boulevard between Hebrard Boulevard and McKinley Street will be closed in both directions to motorists from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bicycle lanes will remain open. Public parking for the address can be accessed using McKinley Street or Girard Park Circle.

Edwards will mark the start of a special legislative session with his “Our ޻ֱ” speech at 1 p.m. at the historic Earl K. Long Gymnasium, 500 E. St. Mary Blvd.
