Tennis courts at Bourgeois Hall will be packed with competition on Oct. 28 when the UL Lafayette Alumni Homecoming 2005 Tennis Tournament begins.
Registration for the tournament begins at 7:30 a.m. with matches set to start at 8 a.m. Everyone is invited to play. The tournament will benefit the Bourg Scholarship Fund and Alumni programs that support the University.
Entry fee is $50 per person and includes lunch, refreshments and a t-shirt for each player. Prizes will be awarded to each member of the first second and third place teams.
The format is mixed doubles. Best 2 of 3 sets, no add scoring, third set is a 10 point tie-breaker. Players will play a minimum of 3 matches. This is an all day event.
