TOP STUDENTS HONORED DURING FALL 2005 COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES
The University of ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥ at Lafayette recognized four students who earned the highest grade point averages during Fall 2005 Commencement Ceremonies Dec. 17. Those students include:
• Paul Jude Guidry, who earned a 4.0. He was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Liberal Arts with a major in Criminal Justice. He is the son of Louis and Nellie Guidry of Breaux Bridge and the husband of Carollyn Shanks Guidry of Lafayette.
• Julie Annette Allen, who earned a 3.992. She was awarded a Bachelor of General Studies from the College of General Studies. Her major was in General Studies with a concentration in Behavioral Science. She is the daughter of the late Paul Hebert and May Hebert of Jennings and is the wife of Michael Allen of Lafayette.
• Jennifer Marie Reinert, who earned a 3.976. She was awarded a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Liberal Arts with a major in Mass Communication and a concentration in Journalism. She is the daughter of Don and Pat Reinert of Viroqua, Wisconsin.
• Bridget Tweedel Soumeillan, who earned a 3.976. She was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Math Education. She is the daughter of Ronald and Marcella Tweedel of Lafayette and the wife of Troy Soumeillan of Lafayette.
