UL Lafayette Officials Continue Monitoring Gustav

Today, Thursday, August 28, 2008, the University of ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥ at Lafayette Administration continues to closely monitor the projected path of Hurricane Gustav as it approaches the Gulf of Mexico. Should Gustav take a path for the ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥ coast over the next few days, information on steps being taken by the University will be available through this 24 hour hotline, through ULink, Moodle, and University’s website at www. louisiana.edu

Students are also encouraged to registered for First Call – the university's emergency response system. It is free of charge. Each student has the opportunity to provide email addresses and phone numbers which will receive alerts as they are issued. For instance, a student may choose to include their parents’ home phone number as an additional contact number.
