Veterans Day Breakfast

Student veterans are invited to join the Office of Veteran & Military Student Services for a complimentary breakfast in celebration of Veterans Day. Please join us in the Veteran & Military Student Center.
National Roll Call

The National Roll Call is an event synchronized with campuses across the nation on Veterans Day. The UL Lafayette Student Veterans Organization will conduct a roll call of names of fallen veterans from Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
Stuff the Boat
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM | Rouses Supermarket (601 Bertrand Dr.)
Join the Student Veterans Organization and Ragin' Cajuns Waterski Team for Stuff the Boat! The groups will conduct a food drive benefitting the St. Michael Center for Veterans, a transitional housing program for veterans experiencing homelessness. Look for the Ragin' Cajuns Waterski Boat outside of Rouses on Bertrand Drive to drop off your donations.
Tuesday, November 12
Veteran & Military Student Center Grand Opening Celebration
11:00 AM - 1:00 PM | Agnes Edwards Hall, room M-160
The Office of Veteran & Military Student Services is pleased to host the official grand opening of the "Vet Center!" The official ribbon cutting and program will begin at 12:00 PM. Light refreshments will be provided. We'll also be celebrating the Marine Corps' birthday with a cake cutting.
The Veteran & Military Student Center is a space for veterans and military-connected students to build community. Also known as the "Vet Center," the space ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥s areas for independent and group study, a pool table, a computer lab, and a kitchenette.

Student veterans are invited to join the Office of Veteran & Military Student Services for a complimentary pizza lunch in celebration of Veterans Week. Please join us in the Veteran & Military Student Center.
Veteran & Military Cording Ceremony
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM | Alumni Center (600 E. St. Mary Blvd.)
Each semester, graduating veteran and military-connected students are celebrated at our Cording Ceremony. Graduates are honored with a red, white, and blue graduate cord to celebrate their upcoming graduation. This semester, we are pleased to welcome Caleb Morse as our Cording Ceremony guest speaker. Caleb is a veteran business owner of The Rustic Renegade in Lafayette, LA.
Festivities begin at 3:00 PM with a social hour and refreshments. The ceremony begins at 4:00 PM.
Graduates have been emailed an invitation and are asked to RSVP via the invitation email.

Join the Student Veterans Organization for tailgating - Ragin' Cajuns style! Free food and soft drinks will be provided.
Military Appreciation Game - Ragin' Cajuns Football vs. South Alabama

Fight on Cajuns, fight on to victory! Cheer on the Ragin' Cajuns as they face the South Alabama Jaguars during the Military Appreciation Game. Throughout the game, experience special promotions and spotlights honoring veterans and military members.
Veterans with a military ID receive free beer and popcorn.
