鈥淚 looked to UL Lafayette, and it just so happened that they were starting this online program. I could still be with my students, but all the practices I was putting in place, I could also share with my peers.鈥
"One thing I enjoyed about being in systems technology was that I had elective options. The combination of having systems classes that focused on efficiency, while also having business classes that talked about leadership, progress, and employee empowerment will help me a lot throughout my career."
鈥淵ou think that online, you鈥檙e not going to have those interactions, but I actually had great interactions with all of my professors and other students as well. I鈥檝e made connections with people that I still talk to today that I鈥檝e never met in person.鈥
"It's a great opportunity to apply what I've been able to do in the past to drive them toward the new day of health care. I have greater confidence in driving change and decisions, because I better understood the why and not just the technical aspects of the changes in health care."
"My degree has given me the confidence to pursue opportunities that I wouldn鈥檛 have otherwise. Gaining the knowledge that I did, and expanding my skill set, I feel like I鈥檝e exponentially increased my job performance and career opportunities.鈥
鈥淭he ease of being able to take courses online was definitely a factor for me. I wanted something that was going to be at my pace, from home. I wanted to continue to work and did work full time ahead of the clinical portion.鈥
