"I asked questions and really communicated with my professors; I think that's a big thing. Students may be hesitant to reach out to their professors, but they're there to help you if you tell them what鈥檚 going on."
鈥淭here were one or two times where if something was due at 11:59, I was turning it in at probably 11:55, because I had a lot going on. Sometimes we get busy, so I鈥檇 advise students to plan ahead so that you don鈥檛 get behind. Even if you have to do 20 minutes of work here and 20 minutes there, just make sure you do it in advance so that you鈥檙e not late with your assignments.鈥
鈥淵ou think that online, you鈥檙e not going to have those interactions, but I actually had great interactions with all of my professors and other students as well. I鈥檝e made connections with people that I still talk to today that I鈥檝e never met in person.鈥
"It's a great opportunity to apply what I've been able to do in the past to drive them toward the new day of health care. I have greater confidence in driving change and decisions, because I better understood the why and not just the technical aspects of the changes in health care."
鈥淚t just opened like 25 cans of worms because you're learning marketing, you're learning about law, you're learning about criminal justice, you're learning about mental health, you learn about diversity. So, all things are beginning to make sense and you realize how much everything is connected. It's really cool because you get to dive in and then kind of figure out what works best for you.鈥
