The primary mission continues to be to help current UL Lafayette students become more efficient, independent learners. Our programs, facilitated by trained peer tutors and professional staff, create a welcoming, supportive, and energetic community that fosters connection, collaboration, leadership, and growth.
The Learning Center provides academic support services to facilitate effective learning. These services are offered in coordination with various academic and administrative departments on campus. FREE tutoring is available to all current UL Lafayette students. The program provides an opportunity for students to receive academic assistance, such as clarifying and reviewing subject matter, which has been presented in the classroom.
Other Learning Center services include supplementary instruction (SI) and online tutoring through Net Tutor. A library of study guides, and background information needed in specific courses is available to supplement classroom instruction and individual tutoring.
