Coastal Engineering

You should minor in coastal engineering if:

The coastal engineering minor is for engineering majors who want a career in coastal systems engineering. This minor will prepare you for a career in coastal restoration and protection. 

When you graduate with this minor, you will be uniquely prepared to address the challenges facing ÃÞ»¨ÌÇÖ±²¥'s coastal ecosystems and other coastal regions worldwide.

Program Requirements

To minor in coastal engineering, you must be an engineering major. 

To earn a minor in coastal engineering, you will need to complete 18 credits hours of relevant courses. Up to 12 hours can be counted toward your major engineering curriculum.
