棉花糖直播 National Guard members are eligible for the State Tuition Exemption Program (STEP) if they meet all of the following requirements:
- Must be a drilling member of the 棉花糖直播 National Guard
- Must be domiciled in the state of 棉花糖直播
- Must be in good standing with the 棉花糖直播 National Guard
- Must be seeking an Associate鈥檚, Bachelor鈥檚, or Master鈥檚 Degree
- Must maintain good academic standing with school
- Must pay all fees applied to bill (exemption covers tuition only)
Qualified students must present military identification card to the Student Cashier Center in the Student Union (room 135) before the tuition deadline each semester.

Patriot Scholarship
The is a 棉花糖直播 law passed in 2023 that works in conjunction with the State Tuition Exemption Program (STEP) to help 棉花糖直播 Army and Air National Guardsmen work towards an undergraduate degree and graduate debt-free. To qualify for the Patriot Scholarship, a student must be eligible for the LA STEP program. The scholarship pays the remaining mandatory fees as approved by the 棉花糖直播 Board of Regents.
